Overview
Dorfman Pacific prides itself in being one of the largest full-line, in-stock headwear and handbag companies in the world. The company began in 1921 as Dorfman Hat & Cap Company in a 5,000 square foot facility in Oakland, California. They recently celebrated their 95th year in business at their 275,000 square foot facility in Stockton, California. However, our straw hats we produce with Dorfman Pacific are produced in a jointly owned factory in Mexico.

The PERFECT hat!

I've worn both versions of the hat, all over the world, and in a multitude of conditions from kayaking the Brule River in Northern Wisconsin, exploring New Zealand, to safari in Africa, to sailing the BVIs. The hat is the perfect balance between fashion and function. Several of my friends have bought the hat as well! Please keep the quality the same!

Seems like a well made hat

I returned it because it didn't look as cool on me as it does on the models. The brim is wide. It seemed well made I just couldn't pull it off.

Perfect sun hat

Love the hat! Not as much coverage as your standard lifeguard straw hat, but I I find it more practical. Looks nice, seems well made. I cut the decorative band off of mine, it was easy to do without damaging the hat… just a personal preference.
