Update to Return Policy
Starting September 1, 2021 we will no longer be able to offer free returns on our sunshade hats (Hoff, Lajitas, and Boquillas). We are happy to exchange or return these styles for a refund, however, we can no longer cover the cost of return shipping. You can still place your return request like normal to get your label, but upon refunding your order we will subtract $15 to cover the shipping cost. (Average shipping on sunshades is $17-$22). Don't worry- if you placed your order before 9/1 we will still honor our free return policy and this applies to sunshade hats only. We are still offering free returns on all other merchandise. We appreciate your understanding and can't thank our customers enough for the love that's been shown to our sunshade hats. We've got BIG things coming for spring/summer 2022! 

Unfortunately we are not able to offer free returns or exchanges on any international orders. 

Does your Fayettechill gear not fit? Need a different size or color? We will be glad to exchange or refund your items for free for all domestic orders within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in unworn, unwashed condition with original tags attached.

How can I return/exchange my Fayettechill Gear?

Simply visit our Online Returns and Exchange page. Are you local to Fayetteville? You can also come to our Basecamp Store at 600 N. Mission Blvd. Fayetteville, AR.

How long does the process take?

Upon arrival of your return, it will take 1-2 business days for us to process your refund or exchange. Refunds may take 3-5 business days to show in your bank account. If you are exchanging an item, you will receive a new email confirmation when the exchange has been placed. 

If the original purchase was made with a credit card, we will credit the credit card for the returned item(s) upon receipt and confirmation of their condition. Items must be in original condition and must be returned within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days we can exchange the item for another Fayettechill item. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If we are unable to exchange or repair the item to comply with your request, we may, at our discretion, issue credit to Fayettechill.

What if my gear is damaged?

If any of your gear comes defective or damaged, we will be happy to get you a non-damaged item. If the gear is damaged from normal wear and tear, we can help you get a new item with a fair price. Simply visit our Online Returns and Exchange page to begin the process.

What if I bought Fayettechill at a different store?

If you have purchased Fayettechill through a retailer, check the store's return policy. Most retailers honor returns and exchanges. If there is a problem, feel free to contact us at and we will do our best to help.

  • Items purchased online may be returned or exchanged by mail or in-store with our Customer Service team
  • For a full refund returns must be made with the original receipt or packing list and merchandise must be in its original condition within 30 days.
  • Returns by mail without a receipt or packing list require an order number, name and address.
  • Shipping & Handling fees are non-refundable unless an item is damaged or defective.
  • All sales items are final
