Family owned and operated facilities in Los Angeles, California that we have used since 2012. America’s first Fair Trade Certified factory.
Fibers
Organic Cotton, grown without synthetic pesticides or insecticides, no GMO, non-toxic. Recycled Polyester, made from post-consumer products such as water bottles, uses less energy, less virgin raw material. Diverts bottles and similar materials from landfills. They use low impact dyes and finishes. Now, new to the line up we are offering Recycled Cotton & Recycled Polyester in our Pullovers & Hoodies.
Dyeing & Finishing
The local dye house is Bluesign compliant and one of the most environmentally friendly dye houses in the world. On average, they use 40% less chemicals, 50% less electricity, 65% less water, 30% less natural gas, and 50% lower emissions compared to a typical dye house in United States. These savings are even greater when compared to dye houses operating in China, India, etc.
Screen Printing
Water-based inks, PVC and Phthalate free.
Local Manufacturing
The entire manufacturing operation takes place within an 8-mile radius. Production Waste: 100% of the fabric scraps generated during the cutting process is recycled.

This Brand Ties Me To Home

I am an Ozarkan at heart, born and raised in the Springfield area. I got started on this brand in high school on the recommendation of an ex-girlfriend. It's been 2 years since I moved states for college, and this brand is one of the few things that helps keep me connected. From the graphics and designs to the slogans, when I wear one of your shirts, I can almost feel myself back in those oak-hickory forests, hear the calm flow of the clear creeks. Organic Cotton

Vote for Organic Cotton. It protects natural ecosystems and nurtures the soil, versus crops treated with pesticides and chemicals that are harmful for farmers, workers, wildlife, and waterways.

Hemp

We like Hemp. Its natural resistance to pests and weed-blocking dense growth requires no chemicals of any kind. It is the strongest natural fiber, naturally antimicrobial and resistant to UV.

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
