Overview

We flew out to Fall River, MA to meet with Merrow in Spring of 2018 and visiting their factory was a glimpse into the past. Seeing an old American style factory in such an iconic building made us proud in playing a role in bringing jobs and sewing back to the states. Established in 1838 Merrow is a diverse manufacturing operation. Managed by 7th Generation Brothers, Owen & Charlie Merrow.

Fibers - This Piece Diverted 19 Water Bottles From Landfills

Recycled Polyester, made from post-consumer products such as water bottles, uses less energy, less virgin raw material. Diverts bottles and similar materials from landfills.

I’m 5’2 110lb got the pants and Leah top in XS

Pleasantly surprised by the fit.

I'm 5'4", 173 lbs, and wear size 10 pants. I was worried about how these would fit since I have curvy hips and these looked very straight-fit. I ordered a L because XL was sold out. They fit like a loose legging and allow full range of motion. The top of the waistband hits my belly button when pulled all the way up and is the loosest part of the pant because my waist is much smaller than my hips. The bottoms hit the top of my ankles, which is perfect or me, but may be cropped on someone taller. Overall I am very pleased with the fit and feel of these pants.

Comfy, warm pants

I like these pants a lot and have the matching Leah hoodie. I am 6ft tall and so they fit me a little more like a legging than a sweat pant but they are very comfortable and super warm. With the fit I could layer them for really cold days as an extra layer under snow pants since they are form fitting. I'd love to see this company make different length inseams. That would be cool!

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
