Polartec® Hardface™ is a patented polymer surface treatment applied to enhance durability. Fused at the fiber level, Hardface™ increases abrasion resistance and water repellency. Hardface's added fabric protection maintains performance quality and extends the life of garments while still using recycled polyester to divert water bottles from landfills. My #1 backpacking gear piece

This is a game changer! I bought this 2 years ago for my job where I take people on high adventure wilderness trips 1-2 weeks out of every month. I never leave home with out this item! I've snagged it on bike gears and worn it to pieces but it's still holding up great and is my #1 recommended fleece for people. I love it!

A new favorite

I love, love, love this hoodie. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and have already used it for lounging around, a warm layer post workout, and as a mid layer on a chilly (~10F) February hike. It’s so flexible and functional. Provides great warmth without suffocating or adding weight. And I like the little visor on the hood, a feature my other hoodies lack. Highly recommended!

I’m 5’6, 135lbs, athletic build. I typically wear size small/4-6 tops, but I got a medium in this hoodie for a bit more relaxed fit and it’s perfect. I’m sure I could easily wear a small for a more form fitting look.

Love

Not to be dramatic, but this is THE perfect article of clothing.

I do wish it came in other colors, though. My wardrobe is so full of black at this point 😂

Our Promise

Here at Fayettechill, our commitment to quality is stronger than ever. Goods for the woods that are good for the woods. We collect and thoughtfully create eco-conscious goods that are built-to-last. We strive to lessen our impact on the environment with each seasonal product collection, including ethical manufacturing and sourcing of organic and recycled materials.

Organic Cotton

Vote for Organic Cotton. It protects natural ecosystems and nurtures the soil, versus crops treated with pesticides and chemicals that are harmful for farmers, workers, wildlife, and waterways.

Hemp

We like Hemp. Its natural resistance to pests and weed-blocking dense growth requires no chemicals of any kind. It is the strongest natural fiber, naturally antimicrobial and resistant to UV.

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
