The quality of this fleece is unsurpassed; it is well constructed and has nice features like thumb things, a kangaroo pocket, and a slider to adjust the hood. In my opinion the sizing is a bit off; I ordered an XL (my usual shirt size because I like a loose fit so that I can wear layers) and this shirt was too snug, even with only a polyester t-shirt underneath. I plan to order an XXL when they’re back in stock. I’m 6’ 2”, 180 lbs. and XL isn’t usually a problem as a top layer. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality.
Never want to take it off! Perfect fit, super cozy and comfortable. Can't wait to get another one in a different color.
Nice fleece. Warm, comfortable, looks nice. Too warm for higher output activities, but great for skiing hikes and casual activities in the cold
Fantastic. Haven’t taken it off yet. Surprisingly warm, very cozy, fit is great (I got a small which is my usual fleece jacket size). Worth every penny. Exceptional mid layer. Technical enough for outdoorsy things and pretty enough to wear to the brewery. A++++
I bought my first Livingston a year and a half ago. I liked it so much I bought another in a different color about a year later.
Not long afterward, I noticed a defect with my first Livingston. Despite being purchased when Fayettechill still offered the lifetime "Ozark Family Guarantee," I was told that not registering the hoodie means Fayettechill would not honor that guarantee.
Last week I noticed a small hole near the left wrist area of my second Livingston. Since the guarantee is gone, I realize I am left to my own devices to repair it.
While I initially liked the Livingston quite a bit, the lack of durability and Fayettechill not standing behind their products are the reasons why I will not be purchasing any additional items from them. Though the initial purchase price might be more, there are other companies using Polartec who stand behind their products.
Amazing product! I will be buying more! I wore this out fly fishing with the weather constantly changing! It kept me dry, warm, cool, etc. Love it!
I'm not quite sure what is going on w FC gear, but something about the quality/look/feel is just different. And not so much in a good way.
For years, FC gear was reliably on the mark on all fronts, but not anymore.
Everything from the hats.....to the tshirts.....to the hoodies ....all recent orders have left me wondering what's going on at Basecamp?
I ordered a Leah in a size larger and it is very roomy and comfortable! It's warm, but doesn't wick away sweat as quickly as I'd like, which is okay when I don't plan to sweat
We love these pants. Got one pair last year and my partner a pair this year.
Comfortable and warm!!
These are the shizzy! My partner loved hers as well. She got a second pair. Work great w base-layers and really did well in the damp climates of the Redwoods.. I love this brand and their quality. I miss the thicker fleece pant from last year. Still rocking those as well. Hope y’all continue to grow! Cheers to outstanding quality, a rarity theee dayz;)
I'll never take them off. Bury me in them.
This is my first impression when compared with an Outdoor Research Vigor fleece:
1. I am 5'11'', 145lb, 36" chest (tall and slim), and small fits me as a regular fit should.
2. Both products are of excellent quality and cut, one is trim fit, and this hoodie is a regular fit.
3. What I like the most and why I purchased this jacket is the cut. OR Vigor trimmed fit easily gets smelly because it is very close to the armpits, this hoodie has all the benefits of the OR Vigor and is a regular fit which translates to plenty of space between the fabric and the armpits. Good for traveling purposes.
4. The Loma hoodie is heavier and warmer than the OR Vigor, I consider it "midweight", while the Vigor is "lightweight". Seconds after putting it on and you can feel the warmth.
5. To my surprise, the Loma zippers are not YKK, they seem to be no-brand, and the main one is difficult to undo. Hard to justify at this price range.
6. Fabric is super breathable in both products.
7. The Chest pocket is large enough to accommodate a normal size smartphone in both products, but Loma's is much bigger.
8. Main zipper does not have a zipper garage to protect your beard. Again, hard to justify at this price range.
9. Hood is scuba style, and it fits over a baseball cap but does not look very good.
10. Loma's price is about 2-3 times the price of the OR Vigor, but I think it is 10 times more usable in urban environments or multi-day trips since it doesn't stink after one use.
I usually wear medium for shirts and fleeces but I had to order a small because the medium was too large
Hoodie seemed like good quality but the fit was way too large for the size Small I purchased. Too long at the waist, too long in the arms, and too baggy. I'm 5'9, 135 and size Smalls usually fit me great.
Good for all types of weather perfect like the Polartec softness
I hiked 500 miles across northern spain in this hoodie. It was perfect. Unfortunately, my GF set in down in a bar and someone snagged it. I've never had an emotional loss from clothing until this. Now it is sold out. :(
Very comfortable and high quality. Best straw hat out there for the price.
Hat ripped in multiple places after 1 day of casual use. Very poor quality.
I'm very sorry your Hoff ripped, that's definitely not up to our quality standards. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can help get you a replacement.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

I was not impressed with the quality of hat. I feel these hats are just your run of the mill and look like every other company. Being from TX I can walk in to any gas station and pick out a hat with same quality for half the price. I am disappointed and wish I can just get my money back
I loved this hat, but I had to return it and buy the XXL. The sizing is hilariously small. It's intended for sizes 7 3/8 - 7 1/2, according to the description.
I'm hat size 7 3/8, and the hat was so small that I could barely jam it onto my head, and I got a headache and a giant red stripe on my head within a couple minutes.
So I returned it and got the Hoff XXL. I should note the size description on the XXL is also inaccurate. The XXL says it's for "7 3/4 - 7 7/8." Again, I'm a hat size 7 3/8ths. The XXL is also tight on my head. Not uncomfortably so, but I wouldn't recommend it if your head is any bigger than mine. Size 7 to 7 1/4 would probably be more accurate.
It's a great hat. That's why I gave it 4 stars. But they really need to update the sizing on both this and the XXL. It's simply inaccurate.
The hat works great for sun protection! The band on the inside does make my head hot pretty quickly. Would be nice if the inside band could be improved. Still give it 5 stars but early in the use.
Absolutely amazing! Super comfy and warm.
LOVE the fit, style and material! I am 5’ 11” and 165 lbs and the size medium fits perfect and there is enough room where I could fit a thick base layer underneath. Most importantly the sleeves are actually long enough so I can use the thumb holes! I haven’t worn this hiking/backpacking yet but I can tell it’s going to be one of my go to pieces!
Love this top. It’s the perfect weight for multiple seasons here in Wisconsin. I got both the green and curry colors and they are both great! For size I am usually between a large and xtra large (5’7”, 185 lbs) so I got the extra large and it fits with just the right amount of extra room.
So comfortable. Even able to sleep in it! the seams are stitched so well I didn’t even know I had it on inside out ;)! Extremely stretchy. I’ve used as an under layer and as an over! Very happy with my purchase!… onh and no pilling!!!
The fleece is great - very warm for its thickness and in beautiful colors. But what really stands out is the ease of customer service. I needed to exchange a fleece for a different size & it was the easiest I’ve ever experienced. They provided a bag in the original order box, and all I needed to do at the post office was give them my QR code. Perfect!
