Livingston XL

The quality of this fleece is unsurpassed; it is well constructed and has nice features like thumb things, a kangaroo pocket, and a slider to adjust the hood. In my opinion the sizing is a bit off; I ordered an XL (my usual shirt size because I like a loose fit so that I can wear layers) and this shirt was too snug, even with only a polyester t-shirt underneath. I plan to order an XXL when they’re back in stock. I’m 6’ 2”, 180 lbs. and XL isn’t usually a problem as a top layer. Overall, I’m impressed with the quality.

Nice fleece. Warm, comfortable, looks

Nice fleece. Warm, comfortable, looks nice. Too warm for higher output activities, but great for skiing hikes and casual activities in the cold

Fantastic

Fantastic. Haven’t taken it off yet. Surprisingly warm, very cozy, fit is great (I got a small which is my usual fleece jacket size). Worth every penny. Exceptional mid layer. Technical enough for outdoorsy things and pretty enough to wear to the brewery. A++++

Initially Good - Questionable Durability

I bought my first Livingston a year and a half ago. I liked it so much I bought another in a different color about a year later.

Not long afterward, I noticed a defect with my first Livingston. Despite being purchased when Fayettechill still offered the lifetime "Ozark Family Guarantee," I was told that not registering the hoodie means Fayettechill would not honor that guarantee.

Last week I noticed a small hole near the left wrist area of my second Livingston. Since the guarantee is gone, I realize I am left to my own devices to repair it.

While I initially liked the Livingston quite a bit, the lack of durability and Fayettechill not standing behind their products are the reasons why I will not be purchasing any additional items from them. Though the initial purchase price might be more, there are other companies using Polartec who stand behind their products.

Our Promise

Here at Fayettechill, our commitment to quality is stronger than ever. Goods for the woods that are good for the woods. We collect and thoughtfully create eco-conscious goods that are built-to-last. We strive to lessen our impact on the environment with each seasonal product collection, including ethical manufacturing and sourcing of organic and recycled materials.

Organic Cotton

Vote for Organic Cotton. It protects natural ecosystems and nurtures the soil, versus crops treated with pesticides and chemicals that are harmful for farmers, workers, wildlife, and waterways.

Hemp

We like Hemp. Its natural resistance to pests and weed-blocking dense growth requires no chemicals of any kind. It is the strongest natural fiber, naturally antimicrobial and resistant to UV.

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
