Overview
Dorfman Pacific prides itself on being one of the largest full-line, in-stock headwear and handbag companies in the world. The company began in 1921 as Dorfman Hat & Cap Company in a 5,000 square foot facility in Oakland, California. They recently celebrated their 95th year in business at their 275,000 square foot facility in Stockton, California.  However, our straw hats we produce with Dorfman Pacific are produced in a jointly owned factory in Mexico.

A hat that wears all the hats!

Want a hat to wear to the beach, the pool or the river? Need a hat for an event or daytime casual wedding? This is the one. I love this hat! It’s great quality, on point, both casual and dressed up and looks so sharp. I’ve had so many compliments since I bought it and it’s my new fave summer go to!

Don’t make a return

Had was on the bigger side and needed to exchange which isn’t possible. Went to make the return and it was over $20. Please offer customer friendly exchanges.

Perfect fit and look

First thing I noticed when unboxing my new hat was the apparent quality of the hat. This isn't one of those cheap straw hats you can buy anywhere. Secondly, it fit perfectly and is extremely comfortable. Heading to the beaches of Costa Rica in a few weeks and can't wait to wear this hat on our vacation.

Organic Cotton

Vote for Organic Cotton. It protects natural ecosystems and nurtures the soil, versus crops treated with pesticides and chemicals that are harmful for farmers, workers, wildlife, and waterways.

Hemp

We like Hemp. Its natural resistance to pests and weed-blocking dense growth requires no chemicals of any kind. It is the strongest natural fiber, naturally antimicrobial and resistant to UV.

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
