I just received my Lajitas Sport hat, and absolutely LOVE IT!! It shipped fast, and came in very safe and secure packaging. I will definitely be ordering more hats! Awesome company!

Looks okay but quality is poor for the price

My hat arrived quickly and it looks nice but I started noticing some quality control issues immediately. Right on the crown it’s missing a line of stitching. As I was putting it on I noticed some of the straw is poking out at parts and was not woven well.

The hat is comfy (the internal band is great) and looks nice but for the price I think I’d expect a higher quality.

Life is Better in a Lajitas Sport

Awesome hat. I skip rocks further, catch bigger smallmouth and look better than a bag of money in this hat!

Nice hat with good sun protection

I have the original Lajitas hat and needed the sport with the string to keep it on in the wind. I like both hats but they blow off easy without the strap. Everything is good with the hat but the string is too stretchy like a bungee. I am currently looking for a better material that will work better.

Greatest hat of all time.

I had my first Hoff for several years. Although it always fit too tight, I still loved it. It's condition is still wearable 4 years later. But now I have the XL version which isn't really XL but it actually fits my head now. I don't have a large head so it may still fit too tight for some folks. Perfect for me though and I know this that will last for many years. Thank you

Very well made

The materials, design, construction, and comfort are all excellent. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because, if you're a 7.25 or below, you will need to order fitting shims for a more secure fit.

In this price range, Panama Jack (for example) provides shims for their fedoras. Fayettechill might consider doing the same.

Not at all what it shows in the photos. The photos show it having a flat brim. Exactly what I had been looking for so I was willing to pay expensive price tag. It actually looks nothing like the photos. It’s curved like a cowboy hat. What a waste of money

This hat stood the toughest test

I recently traveled to Africa and took this hat along. I was both deep in the jungle villages as well as through some cities with it. It was one of the hottest and most humid weeks of the year there in Western Africa. This hat was a champ. Looks great and protects from the elements. I particularly like the chin strap option for stability and also to hang it on my back so it was quickly accessible when I needed it. Huge thumbs up for this hat!
