Looking for a kick ass way to spend this upcoming weekend? Interested in hiking some of the most notable trails of the Ozarks? Look no further than Outdoor Rendezvous, hosted by the Hiking in the Ozarks organization. Coming together for their 7th year, this event is promised to be packed full of outdoor opportunities, starting at 9a on Friday, October 22, and running strong through Sunday afternoon.

Open to anyone looking to broaden their knowledge of the trails & landscape of the Ozarks, this weekend is the passion project of Dan Nash, an Ozark-native, FC Team member, and founder of both “Hiking in the Ozarks” and Satori Adventures & Expeditions guide service. The event will drive all participants to play, network, camp, and educate alongside other outdoor enthusiasts from all around the Midwest.

Centered within the much loved walls of Horseshoe Canyon Ranch near the Buffalo River in Jasper, AR, the fest kicks off on Friday at 9a with a guided hike of Hawksbill’s Crag. Throughout the weekend, other guided hikes include classics such as Hemmed in Hollow, Eye of the Needle, Sam’s Throne, and Big Bluff.

Participants can take part in as many or as little hiking as they would like as options to mountain bike, rock climb, practice yoga, and take educational workshops are woven throughout the weekend’s schedule. Educational courses include rock climbing instruction for beginners and intermediates, map reading training, a lecture on the value of hiking throughout the winter, and more.

Tent camping at Horseshoe Canyon will be available for $5 per night. Raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 each for a chance to win nightly giveaways from Fayettechill & other outdoor brands.
