Fayettechill Spring Shuffle Playlist

Fayettechill Spring Shuffle Playlist

Let’s skip the part where I talk about the birds chirping and flowers blossoming.  Spring is here, and that means it’s time for some fresh tunes to fully cement the transition into the light.  There is no shame in becoming more of a blanket burrito than a person during Winter, but all good things must come to an end.  You need a new soundtrack upon which to base those many sunny memories soon to be made, and we at Fayettechill are morally obligated to help in this most sacred musical endeavor.

So splash some water in your face (or better yet plunge into the nearest river, lake, or large puddle), and give the following playlist a solid shuffle through.  We’ve stocked it full of all the genres we could grab in hopes of finding a little something for everyone.  Most came out in the last couple months, and so you’ll nab those vaunted cool kids points along the way.  Slap the indie kids upside the head with some new Father John Misty, and boom, you now hold the hipster crown in your crew.  I guarantee all of the funk fans will slightly bob their heads with approval as Thundercat does his thing, as only a grown man who dubbed himself Thundercat can.  You get the idea.  Anyway if you don’t break into song and dance across the nearest grassy meadow after any of these, then we have failed you, and I personally will offer you my shallowest condolences for time wasted.

In all seriousness I hope that each and every one of you reading this has the best possible Spring.  If this playlist can play a part in that, then I will sleep just as easy as when I was just another blissful Winter blanket burrito.
