Haven't taken them off...
Love the look and quality of the shorts but the waist band sizing is much larger than the Davey shorts so it hangs loose and isn’t wearable. I’m normally a Medium and wear a 31/32 but the waist fits more like a 33/34, even when using the draw strings. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a return because I had washed them hoping they would shrink which voided their return policy.
Buy them for yourself and the people you love, they should have great shorts too.
Just got my shorts from Fayettechill and they are super comfy and definitely feel like there made with quality in mind. Can't wait to enjoy them throughtout the summer!
I’ve worn these shorts probably a dozen times, and they’ve ripped along the bottom seam. I’ve had a pair of used Columbia swim shorts I bought 10 years ago that I’ve worn hundreds of times that are still going strong, and they’re smaller than this pair of shorts. I was at the river with my nephews bending over and helping them build a sand castle when luckily my girlfriend who was behind me noticed my *parts* hanging out the back of the shorts through a rip along the seam I never noticed. I’m a smaller guy, about a 30-31 waist and have these shorts in medium. I don’t see any reason these would have ripped since they’re pretty loose on me. I take them swimming and that’s about it. $70 for a pair of low quality shorts like this is criminal. I guess that’s what snazzy branding and a good social media campaign will get you though. Just glad my girlfriend noticed before some concerned mom, or worse, her children. Unforgettable and unforgivable.
