Factory: Outdoor Cap
Bentonville, Arkansas / Supplier Since 2012 / Sewing & Sourcing
Overview
We have used Outdoor Cap since 2012 and are happy to have them as neighbors in Arkansas for design and development. All factories used under Outdoor Cap are Fair Labor Certified. While we weren’t able to source sustainable fabrics for SS19, We accomplished a major milestone for FW19 and future collections and sourced all GOTS certified Organic Cotton for our main hat fabrics. We were also able to have Outdoor Cap start sourcing from our Hemp supplier, Hempfortex for future developments.
Social Compliance
Since 1999, Fair Labor Association has helped improve the lives of millions of workers around the world. As a collaborative effort of socially responsible companies, colleges and universities, and civil society organizations, FLA creates lasting solutions to abusive labor practices by offering tools and resources to companies, delivering training to factory workers and management, conducting due diligence through independent assessments, and advocating for greater accountability and transparency from companies, manufacturers, factories and others involved in global supply chains.
Fibers
GOTS certified Organic Cotton, Virgin Polyester

Product Was nice. Shipping process wasn't communicated for 4 days until it shipped.

I was expecting to see a time line of the order process up submitting my order. I waited 4 business days before emailing to see what what was going on. When I purchased it should have said, we expect your order to ship in 3 business days or whatever.

The hat is great though. No worries - just want to give feedback.

Hey Kevin, Thank you so much for your feedback, we truly appreciate it! During our Semi-Annual Sale we received the highest amount of online orders we ever have in company history. Our Warehouse did their best to work overtime and get these orders out as efficiently as possible. However, with the extremely large influx of orders, the shipment process was delayed a bit. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for you. We are constantly working to improve the communication between the company and our customers. We are very grateful to be able to get feedback on anything we can improve on! Please feel free to reach out to customerservice@fayettechill.com if you have any more questions or concerns. Thank you so much for your understanding. Best, Fayettechill Customer Service, Margaret Davis

Our Promise

At our 10-year mark, our commitment to quality is stronger than ever. Goods for the woods that are good for the woods. We collect and thoughtfully create eco-conscious goods that are built-to-last. We strive to lessen our impact on the environment with each seasonal product collection, including ethical manufacturing and sourcing of organic and recycled materials.

Organic Cotton

Vote for Organic Cotton. It protects natural ecosystems and nurtures the soil, versus crops treated with pesticides and chemicals that are harmful for farmers, workers, wildlife, and waterways.

Hemp

We like Hemp. Its natural resistance to pests and weed-blocking dense growth requires no chemicals of any kind. It is the strongest natural fiber, naturally antimicrobial and resistant to UV.

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
