Full Production Factory: Sewing & Screen Printing

Overview: Family owned and operated facilities in Los Angeles, California that we have used since 2012. America’s first Fair Trade Certified factory.

Fibers: Organic Cotton, grown without synthetic pesticides or insecticides, no GMO, non-toxic. Recycled Polyester, made from post-consumer products such as water bottles, uses less energy, less virgin raw material. Diverts bottles and similar materials from landfills. They use low impact dyes and finishes. Now, new to the lineup we are offering Recycled Cotton & Recycled Polyester in our Pullovers & Hoodies.

Dyeing & Finishing: The local dye house is Bluesign compliant and one of the most environmentally friendly dye houses in the world. On average, they use 40% less chemicals, 50% less electricity, 65% less water, 30% less natural gas, and 50% lower emissions compared to a typical dye house in United States. These savings are even greater when compared to dye houses operating in China, India, etc.

Screen Printing: Water-based inks, PVC and Phthalate free.

Local Manufacturing: The entire manufacturing operation takes place within an 8-mile radius. Production Waste: 100% of the fabric scraps generated during the cutting process is recycled.

Ozark Mountain Family Guarantee

By supporting clothing made with organic cotton you are voting with your dollar for clean, natural growth of crops & against the use of toxic pesticides that eventually run off into our waterways. We believe in the longevity of land, in maintaining the natural ecosystem of soil.

While it's an oil-based textile, the world uses & recycles a lot of water bottles and we are able to turn that waste into a textile that can be used for decades.

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester - Over 800 million tons of plastic bottles end up in landfill each year. Recycling the PET from plastic bottles into fiber not only reduces landfill & ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET. See more about the recycled polyester process.

Summer here I come

Bought this tank in preparation for a fun Illinois summer of boating, fishing, and just hanging out outside. Not quite warm enough yet but I’ve worn it anyways and it’s def a keeper. The fit is a little baggy but I’m into it, and I’m looking forward to wearing it around the woods for days on end!

Banjo Tankout

Absolutely love it ! Only recommendation I would give is to order a size smaller than what you normally wear. I ordered an xl the first time and it was way too baggy, but the large was perfect !

Boyfriend loves the shirt design!!

Not super wowed

I absolutely love the designs and style of the tanks however, not in love at all with the cotton/polyester blend. Polyester does not hold up in the wash the way cotton does, it pills and looks super tacky after a couple of months. I have a couple 100% cotton Fayettechill tanks purchased 5 or 6 years ago and they look better than the cotton/poly blend tanks purchased three years ago. I will happily wear my new ones but would prefer 100% cotton. I picked up the order at the location on Dickson St. and the customer service was lacking. I waited in line patiently and when I said I was there to pick-up I was asked to stand aside so the people behind me could be helped. The employee took longer than she should have to find my order considering they were placed under the counter and a few feet away under a table behind and to the right of the counter. She asked my name twice, then order number, then asked if I even received an email stating it was ready for pick-up because she couldn't find it. It was under the table in a box she didn't look in the first three times. She handed me the order, no apology and no "have a nice day" or anything similar, just handed over the order and walked away. So, not impressed at all. The other Fayettechill products I own were purchased on clearance from University of Arkansas locations and I think I will continue to do that in the future, the customer service is far more friendly.

Hey Blake, We truly appreciate your feedback, and sincerely apologize for the negative experience you had at our Basecamp store. During our recent Semi-Annual Sale our website received the highest number of orders in company history. Due to this, Basecamp received a very high volume of in-store pickups, causing it took take a little longer than usual to look through all of the orders. Our Basecamp employees try their best to make each customer comfortable and leave our store satisfied. We sincerely apologize for the less than satisfactory experience you had. We are grateful for your feedback as we are always striving to create a positive shopping experience for our customers. Regarding the blends of materials we use to produce our shirts, we switched to the 50% organic cotton - 50% recycled polyester blend because we felt it was a more versatile blend to wear as lifestyle and activewear. We do have another popular blend that I would suggest looking into to see if this is a better fit for you! It's called the Sequoia Blend and is made with 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton. Here is a link that goes into more detail about the different materials and blends we use: Thank you so much for your patience and understanding, and we truly appreciate your continued support. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service representative at if you have any other questions or concerns. Best, Fayettechill Customer Service Margaret Davis
