I still don’t have my item. The USPS hasn’t provided any updates since 2/22.
I bought this hoody for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! He hasn't worn another sweatshirt for a few days! He is 6'2" and I bought him the large and it fits so well! It will be such a great layering piece and it's also so great to know that it is made in such a sustainable way and by such environmentally-friendly products! Thank you, Fayettechill! I'm excited to get the Leah for myself soon!
I’ve worked in the outdoor recreation economy for over 15 years and have owned multiple generations and styles of R1’s as well as other comparable fleece layers from OR, Mountain Hardwear, etc. as well as the coveted Melanzana. I was looking for a piece that was a bit roomier than my current Melly and didn’t feature the slim fit of an R1 because I’m not a climber. I bought a medium based off of the size chart and found it to run much larger, and even when compared to the crew neck sweatshirt I also bought. I also find that the front pocket features too much extra fabric. Ultimately with industry pro deals I don’t know that the cost of the Livingston is something I’d do again.
I’m 6,3 / 200lbs / 34 waist and ordered a size large. This hoody fits me loosely with plenty of room to spare. It has a long (mid-butt) torso and sleeves and is a bit to wide for my taste. However, the arms are very slim compared to the torso width, which I found a bit odd, but I’m guessing they’ll stretch some over time. All in all seems like a nice and warm fleece, but not the best fit to my lanky Scandinavian frame. Still happy I bought it though!
I really like it. It's generally really comfortable, but hiking with the hood cinched was not comfortable for me. I need to find a solution for that.
