Great sweater and warm as well.
Quite comfy, made with great materials. Have not used the Livingston in in-climate weather yet, however it dipped to 50 the other day and with a light T shirt underneath I was quite warm. As someone who is somewhat short (5’8)but built, the fit of the large actually shaped to me quite well. Normally, when I wear large sizes in regards to tops they will fit my chest and shoulder but the length can be a bit much. I had no such problems with these clothes. Thus far very satisfied with the quality of these goods, and have hopes to send pictures of me in the woods with these clothes.
I have the old R1 w/ the offset ninja hood zipper. I thought that was pretty tight, but warm. I got to try on a Mely and that fit was pretty relaxed and a lighter-weight material.
The Livingston seems in between in a nice relaxed, but form shaped fit. It might be the same material weight of the R1, but doesn't feel as warm since it's not skin tight. Overall, it's something I could use for everyday wear and while backpacking. Only black was available when I purchased, but I'd probably get more when there are other colors.
This is a great light weight but very warm pull over that’s great for fall or winter camping and outdoor adventures!
Wore this over a synthetic t-shirt along with a day pack for an 18-mile day hike. Weather stuck between mid 60-70's F with a pretty strong breeze. It was a little warm under the mid day sun, but an added bonus which I read through another review was that the material seems just thick/loose enough to keep mosquito's off (except for around the forearm/elbow where I had the sleeves pulled up and tight). Overall I would say the upper comfort limit for the Livingston is in the 60's F depending on how well you regulate heat. I bought the size M as a 6'1" male, 175lbs, and athletic build. The sleeves sit right at the wrist and the overall length falls below my pants waistline which allows the kangaroo pouch to sit below my hip belt for a little extra secure storage as an added bonus. Great product overall.
