Excellente

Versatile, cool, protective, great fit, and of course stylish.
Elastic liner keeps it on your head comfortably, yet is not restrictive. Takes serious wind to lose it.

I am a 5'3" female with sort of a noggin. I wear M to L in ski and bike helmets and this is perfect. I could see issues for tiny heads

As others have said I wish it had a chin strap situation - and there are allegedly efforts to add this. Fayettechille told me this isn't in process due to supplier issues currently. I'm considering making and adding one myself.

Definitely recommend. I got the darker olive color and think this is perfect. It's lighter than you think

Expected more

It’s a nice hat by appearance but it’s shedding a lot when I wear it and also doesn’t have grommets or strings in case of wind or simply not looking to wear it. I find myself holding the hat of trying to find a spot to hang it. Also the logo half pulled off the hat so it just appears cheap.

Hey Michael,

I'm very sorry the Lajitas isn't living up to expectations. The logo definitely should not be pulling off. Just email a picture to customerservice@fayettechill.com and we can help get you a replacement.

Best regards,
Emma

Well made hat but is too small.

Definitely in the top 10 list for straw sun hats

Great fit. Looks good. Blocks the sun.

But it really needs stampede string (chin strap) for wind.

Otherwise 5 stars.

To big

Way to big!

Our Promise

At our 12-year mark, our commitment to quality is stronger than ever. Goods for the woods that are good for the woods. We collect and thoughtfully create eco-conscious goods that are built-to-last. We strive to lessen our impact on the environment with each seasonal product collection, including ethical manufacturing and sourcing of organic and recycled materials.

Organic Cotton

Vote for Organic Cotton. It protects natural ecosystems and nurtures the soil, versus crops treated with pesticides and chemicals that are harmful for farmers, workers, wildlife, and waterways.

Hemp

We like Hemp. Its natural resistance to pests and weed-blocking dense growth requires no chemicals of any kind. It is the strongest natural fiber, naturally antimicrobial and resistant to UV.

Recycled Polyester

At our Hemp Fortex factory, we use Repreve Recycled Polyester, which uses PET from plastic water bottles as the raw material. Recycling the PET into fiber not only reduces landfill and ocean waste, it causes far less air pollution than making new PET.
